Thursday 14th May marks a significant milestone for us, as Fazenda officially becomes Fogo de Chão.
After 16 years of building Fazenda in the UK — creating something our Teams are proud of and our Guests have come to know and love — this marks the next step in that journey.
While our name has changed, the people behind the Experience — and the care we put into every visit — remain the same.
This transition hasn’t happened overnight. Since partnering in 2024, we’ve been working closely together behind the scenes, and what became clear was just how closely aligned we are — in our respect for the Churrasco tradition and in how we approach hospitality.
We’ve been building towards this, and now we’re stepping into it…
It’s a privilege to now be part of Fogo de Chão — the original Brazilian Steakhouse from Brazil – a brand with a deep-rooted history and one we’ve long admired.
For you, our Guests, it’s the familiar faces of our Team who have welcomed you over the years, the care in how you’re looked after, and the warm Brazilian hospitality you know and love that continue to define us.
This allows us to build on those foundations — bringing together everything that has made Fazenda what it is today with the heritage, global perspective and 47 years of experience of Fogo de Chão — to continue to evolve our offering in a considered way, elevating what we bring to our guests across the UK.
We opened our first restaurant in Leeds in 2010, with the dream of being up there with the best at our craft in the UK and Europe. Now, as we embark on this next chapter, unifying our restaurants under the Fogo brand, we can say that our goal has now changed…
Now, our goal is to be the best in the world, and this partnership marks the beginning of that journey for us.
Thank you for your continued support over the past 16 years. We’re incredibly proud of what we have built over the years and excited about what comes next.
We look forward to welcoming you as we step into the next part of our story, together.
